FROM THE DOC’S DESK

Giving Thanks From The Doctors Desk:

I am thankful for the staff we have here at James Island Dental. Thankful that they share a vision to give the best service and dental care possible. Without them, we could not do what we do. I am thankful for a partner in Dr. Thomas. Thankful that we work so well together towards our goals. I am thankful for my family that supports me and keeps me grounded. We have such a wonderful family of patients that make every day a day to look forward to. To keep up with their lives and to be a part of keeping them healthy. With Thanksgiving coming in a few days I realize how lucky I have been for the last 30 years to do what I love with such wonderful people by my side.

During this time of year, I am thankful for many things. When it comes to dentistry, I am thankful for the people around me that make my job fun. My staff is caring, funny, and professional. They help me bring a higher level of service to our patients, which helps set us aside from other practices. My patients are the other folks that I’m thankful for making my job fun. They are wonderful and appreciative of the efforts our office puts forth. Every day I get to meet new people either from this area or some that are new to town. I am also thankful to be a dentist. I enjoy helping my patients create a healthy dental situation to improve their overall health and well-being. There are so many facets to dentistry that can bring joy to someone, creating a new smile, getting someone out of pain, fixing a cracked tooth, whitening a new brides’ teeth, cleaning teeth to help someone smile more often… So I am thankful for many situations that dentistry affords me to be able to help and work with people. Outside of dentistry, I am thankful for a wonderful, caring, and fun-filled family. We share just about every experience with each other and create many awesome memories along the way. It’s fun to watch my boys get older and mature into young men. I’m thankful for my loving wife who is the glue for our family. Her fun, playful attitude always makes us smile and laugh. She is willing to do anything for a friend or stranger to help them in a difficult situation. I’m thankful for her helping me bring my “A” game because I have to keep up with her “A” game. These are just a few reasons I am thankful this season, I wish your family a happy holiday season and don’t forget the reasons you are thankful. Happy Holidays!
